Dear Self,
Today was nothing short of amazing. Sometimes I feel so many emotions at once, and I’ve realized that understanding the why behind an action doesn’t always make the pain lighter. However, it does help me see that everything happens for a reason. Whether the purpose is clear in the moment or revealed years later, that experience needed to happen.
In church today, the pastor shared something beautiful: “Because God is sovereign, nothing that has happened to you is wasted.” This brings me back to my core belief: everything has a place in a plan we cannot see yet.
Over the past few months, I found myself ruminating over a past lover. Today, I’ve noticed the cycle fading. It’s not that the love I have for one has disappeared, but for me life truly does go on.
