To me, going out is a celebration of self governance, not a recruitment for a “roster.” It is an intentional choice to exist in the world without the pressure of being perceived or pursued. Quite frankly, at this moment, my energy is reserved for the goals I am meant to accomplish in this lifetime.

I’ve realized that I no longer need to go out to “get over” someone from my past. That experience was simply a part of my journey – it does not require a replacement to be healed. What is more important now is the freedom to simply be.

Ultimately, if I decide to sit at a bar with a glass of wine, I am doing it for me.

With love,
